Summit has another Learning Extensions Camp on Friday, March 25 for students K-5.  We’re all about Spring Break Science as we explore, create, experiment, discover, and engineer, all in the name of science! Standards Based Learning Opportunity

You are invited to learn more about Standards Based Learning on March 23 at Prairie High School. A great opportunity to have a conversation with national expert Dr. Thomas Guskey.  Currently grades K-9 and several high school departments are reporting student progress based on standards.  By the fall of 2017, College Community Schools will be a K-12 Standards Based Reporting System.  Click on the flyer below for more information.

Help Someone’s Day – Youth 100+

Iowa Big which is an initiative-based high school  has an organization called Youth 100+ which helps connect the youth (8-18) with non-profit organizations. Click on the link below to learn about their “Do-Gooders Competition” that will be held the week of March 7.  The objective is to do as many random acts of kindness in our community in a 7 day time fame.
