Check out the world premiere of Somewhere Only We Know documentary produced by Ambivalence Studios and Iowa BIG. The film follows the Horak family – specifically Janice and Richard – and tells the narrative of their life and legacy. The Ely Public Library will be providing FREE Summer Reading Support for youth who have completed grades K-6. Reading Support runs from 1-2 pm Monday – Friday, starting June 11 and finishing August 3. Each one hour session is provided by a volunteer and may include: one on one reading, group reading/read aloud, fun literacy games, writing practice and more!

No Barriers USA was founded by Erik Weihenmayer, the first blind person to summit Mount Everest. The organization helps youth, individuals with disabilities and veterans with disabilities to overcome the obstacles that they face and live a life of purpose.
