Special Screening of Screenagers at Point

What short- and long-term impact is that having on our children, families, and schools? WE INVITE YOU to explore these questions & more with other members of the Prairie community during a special screening of the movie Screenagers on October 8 at 6:00 PM at Prairie Point. This is an opportunity to increase your skills in singing, dancing, and dynamic storytelling.  Classes are being offered for students in grades 1st-3rd and students in grades 4th-8th. Prairie Volleyball Poster and Youth Night

Come cheer on the Prairie Hawk Volleyball team as they take on Western Dubuque at home on Tuesday, September 25. On this night the program will be recognizing all summer campers, as well as 7th -9th grade players and those who wear their camp shirts or jerseys will get in free!  Players will be signing posters immediately after the match.  Click on the flyer below for details.

Parenting Young Children

The Parent Education Consortium/ISU Extension and Outreach in providing a series of free workshops called “Parenting Young Children” for families with at least one child between the ages of 0-5 years old. The workshops are Thursday evenings October 4 – November 8 at Prairie Crest Elementary School. Free family meal, childcare, and activities and materials. Click on the link below for details.
