9th Annual Sonia Kovalevsky Mathematics Day

Sonia Kovalevsky was a renowned mathematician, writer, and advocate for women’s rights in the 19th century.  The event is Saturday, April 5, 2014, organized by the University of Iowa Mathematics department.  The purpose of the event is to encourage young women in the study of mathematics and sciences.  Click on the flyer below for more information.
